Emmy 2020 - Red Carpet Amidst the Pandemic

The Emmy 2020 will undoubtedly go down in the history of one of the most important galas of the film industry. Not only because of the numerous awarded (and not awarded) acting talents, but primarily because of the special circumstances in which this year's gala took place. They did not, however, prevent the presentation of creations that we have definitely missed over the last months of lockdown.

The Emmy Awards is one of the most important galas for the film industry. Unlike the Golden Globes or Oscars, Emmys are given to television productions. For decades, TV series have been effectively winning the hearts of viewers, greatly due to popular streaming platforms like Netflix and HBO GO. TV series are currently experiencing a great renaissance, so it's no wonder that the Emmy 2020 provides viewers with no less excitement than the best film production of the year.

Emmy 2020 in an unusual setting

This year's excitement was also provided by the unusual setting and special circumstances in which the gala took place. As one might expect, the Emmy 2020 took place virtually, which didn't prevent the stars from presenting themselves and their creations to viewers around the world. The big winner this year was the series "Succession", which won the main award for best drama series. Among individuals, young actress Zendaya deserved the recognition, who in turn is the youngest actress to win an Emmy for the lead female role in a drama series. Zendaya received her award for her brilliant performance in the series "Euphoria".
