The English term, which literally means "clearing the rubble", can also apply to a closet bursting at the seams. Too many clothes make it impossible to fully utilize such a wardrobe, not to mention the problem with creases and lack of space. It is worth making some room for the clothes you really wear and feel good in before the new year comes - the basics of the wardrobe should be high-quality basic items.
Let's take a moment to thoroughly review all things and sort them out. Let's say goodbye to those clothes, shoes, bags or accessories that haven't been used for at least a year. The same goes for damaged items and those that are the wrong size. But this doesn't mean throwing them in the trash. Let's consider whether we know someone who would fit the items we don't need, or donate them to a charity. Such ecological solutions and slow fashion are the future of the fashion industry.
- What items should definitely be kept? The ideal core wardrobe is one where all elements match each other. Let's try to find our own key, according to which we will complete the entire wardrobe. The main theme could be, for example, a favorite color or a worthy style. Let's leave those clothes that meet the criteria set earlier – advises Karolina Pietrasik-Książek, an expert from the online store Vitkac.com.

There are also certain items that every woman's wardrobe should contain. They include at least a small black dress like the ones from Chloe, Versace, or Red Valentino. A white, smooth shirt, for example, from Moncler or Burberry, should not be missing either. Universal jeans from Saint Laurent, a classic coat from Balenciaga, or nude-colored heels from Jimmy Choo are essentials that cannot be done without.

Since we have already made room on the hangers and established the basic rules governing our wardrobe, it's time for some shopping. It's worth investing in fewer, but higher quality new clothes. A single skirt from Stella McCartney or a Bottega Veneta bag will last longer and look better than several cheaper and inferior copies.
Before going on a shopping spree, it's also worth checking out the latest trends to then look for the best deals. Designers are already presenting on the runways collections that will conquer the streets in spring and summer 2021.

Wide, high-waisted trousers made of flowing materials are making a big splash. They play a major role, for example, at Fendi and Victoria Beckham, both in professional and casual outfits. It's also worth stocking up on stylish lingerie, which will be on display in the coming year due to transparent fabrics. We can find great models of bras and transparent blouses or dresses at Etro, Saint Laurent, or Dior.

Pastel colors will dominate, especially from designers like Versace, Zimmermann, and Red Valentino. Besides the little black dress, it's worth hanging a little white dress in the closet. White dresses are promoted by the likes of Loewe and Alexander McQueen. The color for the daring will be metallic silver. Shiny clothes can be admired in the collections of Givenchy, Isabel Marant, and Off White.
All the cosmetics and clothes presented in the article can be found in the online store Vitkac.com.
