The tailor Nazareno Fonticoli, originally from Penne in the Abruzzo region of Italy, and entrepreneur Gaetano Savini opened the Brioni tailoring workshop in 1945 on Barberini Street in Rome. It was here that the dream of luxurious Italian menswear took shape, combining technical and stylistic excellence.
